作为一个农业大国，印度的水果和蔬菜进出口近年来均有增长。印度主要果蔬出口目的地国家为阿联酋、斯里兰卡、荷兰、马来西亚和英国。对于果蔬进口来说，中国在印度拥有很大市场。

Being an agrarian economy, India has been growing in the fruits and vegetables market not only in exports but imports as well. The major destinations for Indian fruits and vegetables are UAE, Sri Lanka, Netherland, Malaysia, and UK. In terms of imports of certain fruits and vegetables, China has a significant share.

为了促进中印两国蔬果贸易发展，ICEC于2018年11月27日在印度国际中心举办了中印水果企业对接会。此次活动由中国农业农村部农业贸易促进中心主办，中方携8家蔬果公司参与了此次对接会。中国驻印度大使馆经济商务参赞处对本次活动给予了支持和帮助。

In the endeavour to further promote trade of fruits and vegetables between both the agrarian nations, India China Economic and Cultural Council organized the China-India Fruits Business Seminar on the evening of 27th November at the India International Centre. The event was hosted by the Agricultural Trade Promotion Centre, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, China which brought in a delegation of 8 companies from the fruit and vegetable sector. The program was supported by the Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s Office, Embassy of the Peoples’ Republic of China in New Delhi.

中国驻印度大使馆经济商务参赞处一等秘书封岩女士发表了欢迎致辞。她说中印两个农业大国在蔬果领域将会有巨大的合作前景，希望两国能够持续合作，积极探索新征途。

Madam Feng Yan, First Secretary, Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s Office, Embassy of the Peoples’ Republic of China opened the seminar by giving the welcome address. She shared about the huge prospects India and China hold in the realm of cooperation in fruits and vegetables. Both countries being one of the largest producers of agrarian products and suppliers too, should look for avenues to collaborate and share best practices, she said.

多家企业参与了此次研讨会并介绍了自己的公司和特色产品。印度蔬果公司对于中国企业的介绍印象深刻，并在会后与他们积极热烈的探讨和交流。格拉提先生在会上与大家分享了他与中国公司做生意的经历，并且出乎意料的是，他在会上碰到了他的供应商之一。中国农业农村部农业贸易促进中心和中国政府对ICEC表示了诚挚的感谢。

Various companies present at the event were given the opportunity to promote their products and give a presentation as well. These included Yantai Yuyi Fruit and Vegetable Foodstuff Co. Ltd.; Tianbo Fruit; Qixia Defeng Food Co Ltd; and Fuji Penglai Ltd. All the Indian fruit and vegetable companies were very impressed with the informative presentations and were glad to interact and meet with them during the B2B sessions. One of the attendees, Mr. Gulati shared his experience of doing business with China in the fruits and vegetables industry and was happy to meet one of his suppliers coincidently at the evening. Towards the end of the seminar, delegates from the Agriculture Trade Promotion Center, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Govt. of China thanked ICEC Council for organizing a successful event.
